Santa Cruz Island - Smugglers Cove

We anchored in Smugglers Cove last night and thought we had the place to ourselves until the fishing boats and a navy destroyer - USS Paul Foster showed up late in the evening. The destroyer had 2 guard boats securing the location and their lights were bright! It was a clear night with stars and the Milky Way as clear as can be. We pulled out of our spot around 7am and were able to get some great pics of the destroyer at sunrise. It will be a day of motoring to Catalina, no wind.
